Grade 12 students are reminded to notify Student Services of any scholarship and/or bursary you have accepted for next year (excluding UPEI and Holland College). Please bring a copy of the letter you received from the post-secondary school or organization for confirmation. This list will be read during the graduation ceremony.

Applications for the Charlottetown Legion Branch No. 1 bursary are now available at Student Services. Criteria includes: demonstrate financial need, be a child, grandchild or stepchild of a war veteran or an ex-service member and live within the Charlottetown Legion Poppy Campaign geographical area (determined by the Charlottetown Legion Branch No. 1). Deadline to apply is June 11, 2012.

Applications for the PEI Roadrunners bursary are now available at Student Services. Criteria includes: entering college or university in the fall of 2012 and participated in organized running events during your grade 12 year. Deadline to apply is May 31, 2012.

Applications for the Orin Carver Scholarship are now available at Student  Services.  Criteria includes intending to be a fulltime student at Holland College or UPEI in the fall of 2012, exhibits a level of excellence and leadership in  athletics, art fields or community service or a combination of each.  Students overall individual average must be a minimum of 75% with no individual subject mark below 70%.  Deadline to apply is June 1, 2012.

The Fondation acadienne d’aide aux Étudiants et étudiantes invites all those wishing to pursue post-secondary studies in French to apply for scholarships by May 31, 2012.  For the first time, you can apply for the various scholarships directly on line via the SSTA website (www.ssta.org).

Applications for the school prizes are now available at Student Services. Criteria for the various prizes range from community and/or school involvement, volunteer work, athletics, academics, etc. Students are asked to check the specific criteria for each school prize and when picking up their applications to sign their name to the prize list. Completed applications are to be returned to Student Services by May 28th.

PEI Potato Blossom Festival is looking for nominations for the 2012 PEI Potato Ambassador. Applicants must be 18-21 years old, knowledgeable about the potato industry and have good public speaking skills. Winners will represent PEI at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto and receive a $500 education bursary. More information is available in Student Services.

Applications for the Confederation Bridge Education Bursaries are now available in Student Services.  Criteria includes: acceptable academic record, demonstrated leadership potential, involvement in his/her community and financial need. Deadline to apply is May 22, 2012.

Applications for the Atlantic Veterinary Summer Academy are now available in Student Services.  This 5-day program will allow students to interact with the College’s faculty, staff and students through a variety of instructional approaches.  Criteria includes: planning to attend university in the fall of 2012, minimum of 77% and 18 years of age or older.  Deadline to apply is June 8, 2012.

Applications for the Sport PEI Scholarship are now available at Student Services.  Criteria includes: graduating from high school, excelled in high school or provincial sports during your grade 12 year, demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities through volunteerism and sport, maintained a strong academic standing and will be entering 1st year post-secondary institution in the fall of 2012.  Deadline to apply is May 18, 2012.
